Privacy Policy
Last updated 8 July 2026
Zetahertz ("we", "us", "our") builds privacy-respecting software. This policy explains what information we collect across our website and products — Across, FindMyDomain, Zeta Resume — how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can and never sell your data.
01Who we are
Zetahertz is an independent software studio. For any privacy-related question you can reach us at support@zetahertz.com. This policy covers this website and the applications we operate, unless a product presents its own supplementary notice.
02Information we collect
This applies across our website and our mobile and web apps. We collect the following categories of data:
- Personal identifiers & contact info. The email address and account credentials you use to sign in, and any details you include when you contact us.
- User content. Content you create in our apps — for example, feed sources, feed views, bookmarks, and reading history in Across, or resumes, cover letters, and tracked applications in Zeta Resume.
- App activity & interactions. In-product actions needed to make features work, such as saved items, searches, and AI-generated results.
- Device & diagnostic information. Device and browser type, app version, and crash and performance diagnostics.
- Approximate usage analytics. Aggregated, privacy-preserving analytics about how features are used.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or your device microphone or camera, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. Our Google Play Data safety disclosures are consistent with this policy.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
03How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve our products and website.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To power features you request, including AI-assisted generation, summarisation, and search.
- To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
- To understand aggregate usage so we can fix problems and prioritise improvements.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
04Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the service you asked for), legitimate interests (to secure and improve our products), consent (for optional analytics and marketing, where required), and legal obligation.
05AI and third-party processing
Some features send content you submit to third-party AI providers to generate a result — for example, resume suggestions or article summaries. We share only what is needed to perform the request, and we choose providers that do not train their models on your submitted content by default. We also rely on trusted infrastructure and analytics providers acting as processors on our behalf.
06Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as your theme), and understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser. See our Cookie Policy for details.
07How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who process data on our instructions.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users and the public.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
08Data retention and deletion
We keep personal information only as long as necessary to provide the service and for legitimate legal or operational reasons. If our app lets you create an account, you can request deletion of your account and its associated data at any time — from within the app or from a web browser at zetahertz.com/data-deletion. You do not need to reinstall the app to make a request.
When you delete your account, we permanently delete or anonymise your associated personal data — typically within 30 days — except for the limited data we are required to retain by law or need to keep for security and fraud prevention. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our normal rotation. See our Account & Data Deletion page for the full process and timelines.
09Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@zetahertz.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
10Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to minimise risk and respond quickly to any incident.
11International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of our products after an update means you accept the revised policy.
13Mobile apps and Google Play
Our mobile apps distributed through the Google Play Store are also covered by this policy, and our Google Play Data safety section is kept consistent with it. In our apps we handle your data as described above, encrypt it in transit, and give you a way to request account and data deletion — see Account & Data Deletion. Where an app uses third-party services (for example, AI providers or analytics), those act as processors on our behalf and are limited to the purposes described here.
