A hertz is one cycle per second — the unit of frequency. We named the studio for the idea that good software finds the right frequency: fast enough to feel instant, quiet enough to stay out of your way, and tuned to exactly what you came to do.

We're small on purpose. That means fewer meetings, sharper decisions, and products we're willing to put our own name on. Every app we ship is one we use ourselves — which is why they lean privacy-first, load quickly, and skip the dark patterns.
